The proposed Jackson North Wind Farm is located approximately 35 km from south-west of the town of Wandoan, in and around operational gas fields in the Surat Basin and adjacent to the 275kV Wandoan South Substation.

Jackson North Wind Farm intends to connect to Queensland’s electricity network via a transmission line connecting into the 275kV Wandoan South Substation.

Jackson North Wind Farm is expected to commence operations by 2030.
